MICROFRAL® is resistant to radiation.


TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE

Depending on the type of treatment applied and the basic characteristics of the material, MICROFRAL® withstands temperatures from -250° to +1100°C. It also enhances surface heat transfer.

In general, any part operating dry or lubricated for which you want to extend lifespan, increase speed, improve efficiency, or delay seizing or sticking.

EMBEDDING

Applied using a special cold-spray process, micro-particles of solid lubricants penetrate the material to a depth of a few microns and remain permanently embedded. The treatment is only superficial, but it can only be completely removed by removing the impregnated material. The embedding is extremely regular and uniform, independent of the geometric variations of the treated parts. A very thin surface film may form, but it can be easily removed because it does not constitute the active part of MICROFRAL®. Its thickness is constant because it is self-limiting. The original dimensions of the parts are preserved.
